Good Spots In Paris

Today was a day off. It's a national holiday in France to commemorate the Ascension of Jesus. Lucky us : today was also one of the warmest day of the last pasts weeks so it was VERY pleasant to hang out in the town (and I sure did !). That was the good part of this post For the sad one : I will not blog during the coming days.

Don't worry, "the coming days" means until Monday only ! So no reason to freak out. It won't change you a lot anyway as I barely post more than once a week lol. In fact the only thing that changes is this very post Usually, instead of this pathetic little post of apology, you should have had a normal post (i.e. longer, with facts and good tips in it). Oh by the way, I apologized about not posting anything interesting instead of this little text but I did not tell you why I haven't the time to post a real thing here. Let's do that :

As we (me and my friends) knew ages ago that this day was holiday we planned a lot of things to do. In fact we planned so many things that I'll have less free time than when I work lol ! By the way I should go to bed now because we have a 48h non-stop planing starting tomorrow, I'd better be in good shape lol.

Once again sorry for this very little thing (at least you'd have learn that the Ascension of Jesus is a day off in France )

Winter's gone ! The sun's been shinning for a whole week now in Paris, and even if it's just the beginning of spring and if some gloomy days are still to come : it's already great to have such a weather

It all started a week ago : the sun was shinning when I woke up...weird. I had my breakfast as usual, got a shower as usual, suited up as usual, and got out of my flat to go to work as usual...I noticed the second weird thing as soon as I had one foot outside the building : the temperature was nothing close to cold, watching a digital pharmacy sign I learned it was higher than 10°C (50°F)...nice !

The day after that, same scenario...and one additional great spring features : skirts !!! I saw ladies wearing skirts from time to time as I walked in the town...smells like summer's coming ! To tell you the truth I even started again to lunch outside, in a little park, just to enjoy the sun and the pleasant show of people passing by with a smile on their face. Maybe I may even start again to take pictures of my beloved town and post them here ...I guess I surely will (so keep tuned ).

Been a very long time without new articles ! Well, high time for a new one, don't you think ? So here is one, short but sweet :D In fact I recently had a brand new camera (to be honest my old "camera" was my phone, Sony Ericsson w810i, which makes very good pictures..but which is a phone ^^). So I had this brand new camera, and went for a walk (or two :p ) in Paris just to test it, and checking my blog I realized that it's been ages since I posted anything so I decided to make a new article just to show you some of the pics I took.

First one : a garden i really like in Paris (and I must confess it's weird I had not talked about it in my post about spots for a pick-nick) : The "Montsouris garden", in the South of Paris : Pretty nice isn't it ? I also have some really good photos of ducks there, but I'll spare you

Second (and Third) picture : The Louvre Museum (once again : weird I had not talked about it in my "must see" article...) (please notice the moon, I'm pretty proud of it )

(I guess the kings who lived there at the time liked to see themselves a glamorous way )

Well, that's it for now. I'll try to add new articles very soon (that's a great excuse to use my new camera ! I love it, really...Note for myself : make a nice video to post on this blog too ), by the way : sorry for the quality of the pictures, I know they're not as sharp as they should be, I'm just starting to learn how to use my new camera, the next ones will be much better (I hope )
